Jean-Paul Cattin is a Swiss photographer based between Switzerland and Ibiza. A graduate of the renowned photography school in Vevey, he began his career in Paris, where he quickly gained recognition in the fields of fashion, portraiture, and advertising.
His visual language blends precision and sensitivity, exploring light, texture, and atmosphere with a cinematic eye. He is regularly commissioned by brands seeking to rethink or reinvent their image through a strong and distinctive photographic direction. His approach helps shape new visual identities, bringing style, coherence, and a resolutely contemporary aesthetic.
Alongside his editorial and commercial projects, he has directed films and campaigns for clients such as Citroën, Swiss Lottery, and Nestlé. He has also collaborated with prestigious international houses and brands including Patek Philippe, Bulgari Parfums, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Paul Smith, Piaget, Swatch and Tag Heuer. His more introspective and abstract artistic work has been exhibited internationally, including in New York, Miami, and other major cultural hubs across Europe and beyond.
Today, he focuses primarily on still life and portraiture — a space where storytelling meets composition, and where his visual style continues to evolve with creativity and precision. He works across Europe.
